Arts Marketing Association Conference 2022 — A New Adventure
AMA Conference 2022 will take place in Birmingham, at the Eastside Rooms, on 14 – 15 July 2022. This year’s theme is ‘A New Adventure’. Museum Development Yorkshire is providing one sponsored place to regional museums
The AMA Conference will be attended by delegates from across the arts, culture and heritage sector and is for all levels, whether you’re well-established in marketing, communications and audience development or just starting out. AMA Conference sessions are put together to reflect current challenges, to highlight case studies, and inspire new ways of rising to challenges. By bringing people together in the only event of its kind, the AMA helps motivate, upskill and support delegates to make a difference in their work.
This will be the twenty-sixth annual in-person AMA Conference (not including 2 online conferences). Well-known for its excellent programme of speakers and trainers, the AMA Conference also has a great reputation for its social events and networking opportunities, enabling delegates to connect and grow their network. Museum Development Yorkshire Sponsored Place
This bursary is available to individuals working or volunteering in museums that are:
- In Yorkshire and the Humber
- Accredited with Arts Council England*
Bursaries are not available to people working or volunteering in museums that are:
- Funded by Arts Council England as a National Portfolio Organisation
- A National Museum (non-departmental public body sponsored by the Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport)
*MDY will support but not prioritise applications from museums that are recognised by Arts Council England as ‘Working Towards Accreditation’.
Applications are open to both AMA members and non-members, including those who can no longer afford to take part in AMA events due to Covid-19. For more information about the AMA, check out the social media feeds
