What can Community First Yorkshire do for you?
Did you know that Community First Yorkshire has a team committed to supporting voluntary, community and social enterprise organisations across North Yorkshire and also provide support for rural organisations and community buildings across North, South and West Yorkshire? The team can help with funding, governance, training, networking and policies. Listening to issues facing local groups, Community First Yorkshire provide an advocacy role for voluntary organisations at regional and national strategic level and act as the rural county council.
Carole Roberts, Community Support Delivery Manager at Community First Yorkshire will present examples of their work and discuss how you can access support.

Insightful, interactive and informal, come along to gain new insights from our guests, meet colleagues from the region, and connect with the MDY team. Everyone who works and volunteers in museums in our region is most welcome, including museum freelancers who want to stay connected.
