An Introduction to Online Content Creation
This national online Museum Development workshop will provide an introduction to digital content creation for museums.
Understanding where to begin with creating content that engages your audiences can be a stumbling block. This session will ensure you get to grips with aligning your objectives with the right platforms and the right content. You’ll look at how different types of content will achieve different outcomes, you’ll gain tips on how to create content with limited resources, and you’ll look at how to measure impact.
Rural Museums Network: Representing Gypsy, Roma and Travelling Communities in Rural Museums
A panel of experts discuss the representation of Gypsy, Roma and Travelling communities in our rural histories.
The Rural Museums Network has brought together a panel of experts who are passionate about the representation of Gypsy, Roma and Travelling communities in our rural histories. Jeremy Harte, John Henry Phillips, and Georgina Stevens will discuss how and why GRT histories have a place in our museums, as well as who we should be working with to make these stories accessible to all.
Sporting Heritage Conference
Join us online as we bring together key members from the heritage and sport sectors, share best practice case studies, provide hands on advice and guidance, and increase the confidence and knowledge of those wishing to develop sporting heritage activity.
Supported by a diverse programme of speakers, this year’s conference focuses on representation and engagement. We will explore these themes and how they impact on sporting heritage and the stories it tells. The event will also outline how to build greater support for the sector going forward, and how to support grassroots projects and collections.
